Orlando surprise weekend questions..

I am in Orlando for a conference in June.. and booked my wife a ticket to come down before (shh do not tell her.. )...

I recall in a few pod casts some reviews of local restaurants off property.. I can not for the life of me remember any of them.. anyone care to point me in the right direction..


For those who watch things closely and have a better memory than I: Is there any chance for a good deal for an on property resort in early June of 2012?

Recommendations for off property places that you have stayed out are also very welcome..

And last question:

What would one recommend to do in the area of Orlando when you have only 1 full day and 2 half days (we arrive early Friday, and my wife has to go home later afternoon on Sunday) that is not an amusement park?

Celebration Towne Tavern is one they often talk about. Been there, pretty good.

We're huge fans of Sweet Tomatoes. There are several in the area around WDW, but I don't remember which one the Podcast Crew recommends...
