Hello everyone !! I just want to say I find so much of the info on here helpful !!!! I am new at this so please excuse any mishaps.. I was wondering if anyone has good or bad info about renting from Orlando stroller rentals ?? We are a family of 8, and with our youngest being 3, we really don't want to purchase a new stroller just for our trip.. ( this will be our 3rd) But I know first hand how tired all thei feet become ! Any feed back would be great !

I haven't used them myself but I've heard very good things about them here on the boards. You may want to post this on the Family board, you will probably find more people there with first hand experience.

Not sure about the company you mention, but last May we rented a couple of strollers from Magic Strollers (http://www.magicstrollers.com) and were pleased with their prices and service. It's run by the folks who brought us the Owner's Locker.

Thank you for that website link !!!!! Haven't come across that company until now !

We used Orlando Stroller Rental last year and they were FANTASTIC!!! Perfect in every way! Our stroller was waiting at Bell Services when we arrived at 11:30 AM. The double stroller was in great condition, nothing torn, stained or missing. We tied a little ribbon on the handle to distinguish it from everyone else at the park. It was easy to fold for riding on the bus and was definitely a life saver for the girls. It was also handy to store things during the day. We found the stroller easy to use and loved the features. The company was wonderful and the service was excellent. We dropped the stroller off at Bell Services when we left and that was it! The website is super easy and billing was a no-brainer.

Good luck and have no worries renting with Orlando Stroller Rental!

We rented a "City Elite Single" from Orlando Stroller Rentals for our stay at POFQ during Presiden't Day week. We arrived at 4:00 PM and it was waiting for us at the luggage area to the right of the main entrance at the DME bus stop. There was a placard on the back with our last name and a baggie tied to the handle with instructions.

The stroller was definitely not new, but was in VERY good condition and very clean. It was definitely in much better shape than most of the Disney owned strollers I've seen. If I had been in the market for a stroller and saw this one at a yard sale, I wouldn't have hesitated to buy it.

Having the ability to take the stroller everywhere we went was great. Folding it was very easy: just lock the rear wheels and grab the handle... the whole thing just folded right up. It was especially nice being able to put our daughter in the stroller after getting off the bus after a long day in the parks. I wouldn't hesitate to rent from them again.

we had the EXACT same experience - Loved them!

Has anyone ever pushed the limits of a Sit and Stand type stroller with a 60lb 8 year old and 30lb 4 year old? I think the max weight is 40 or 45 lbs on the standing part.

I think our 8 year old would walk most of the time but would love to have the back up of a stroller if needed for her.

Thanks.

Another "thumbs up" for Orlando Stroller Company. The stroller they provided was awesome.

Upon arrival in Orlando I received a text message that our stroller had just been dropped off. The resort bellman put the stroller together for us... seems like they have many rental strollers dropped off and are happy to work with them.

It really was a great experience all around.:hippie:

For our November trip, I have planned to use MagicStrollers. I love the service from John and Brian at Owner's Locker, and look forward to using the stroller for our soon to be first grandchild -- a girl due July 6th! :woohoo:

I'm sure the weight would be fine for an occasional ride. However, have you ever used a sit and stand stroller before? I have one and I don't care for it. The back of the seat doesn't come up high enough for a child to rest their head on and nap. I know your youngest is 4, but a nap/rest still might come in handy at Disney. I just got home with my DS who will be 4 this week. He never naps but he did a couple of days at MK...Thank God!

We are planning to use MagicStrollers on our trip March 23rd. They drop off at your hotel by 10 am. We have an early arrival, so this is best for us.

I haven't tried one yet, but was looking at some used ones to try this trip. I'll check out the hight of the back seat. Definitely plan on taking naps this trip or at least heading back to swim and relax! Thanks!
