We will be staying at CBR in April and want to do some shopping at Orlando Premium Outlets.
We won't have a car so were thinking of taking a taxi. Can anyone tell me how much this will cost.
Also is it easy to get a taxi back to the reosrt. Are there taxis waiting or would you have to call for one.

Can't help you on the price, but there are indeed taxis waiting at the Premium Outlets.

good question. I've really wanted to check these out when we go in December too. I was wondering if it was cheaper to rent a car for the day or take a taxi.

You could save some money off the taxi fare by taking a Disney bus from your resort to Downtown Disney and then catching a taxi from DTD. From there the Outlet mall is less than 5 miles away with just a few traffic lights, which would make the taxi fare much cheaper.

I have seen some Premium Outlet Store busses. I don't remember if it was when I was off site or on site. Possibly at the Swan.... Anyone else seen them?

Good suggestion. If not the swan/dolphin maybe it was a DTD resort? Those are just across the street from DTD and you could walk over to them. The OP could try calling the resort front desk and inquiring???

You can also take a LYNX bus from the Ticket and Transportation center (#50) to the Sea World stop and cross the street and catch a south bound I-Trolley right to the mall. When you return just reverse your route. The Lynx bus and the I-trolly share bus stops at the Sea World stop. The Lynx bus is
$1.50 and the I-trolly is $1.00 for adults, children are free.Check their web sites. www.golynx.com or www.iridetrolly.com .We just did this in Jan and also went to the Prime mall at the north end of the I-trolly route.

The Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores outlet mall has a courtesy bus however that is a different shopping center. It's on SR535 right at the Orange-Osceola County line. It's a relatively small outlet mall....see www.lbvfs.com for stores. It does have the only Old Navy outlet store in Orlando.

Most of the high-end designer outlet stores including Coach, Diesel, Miss Sixty, FCUK, Armani, Fendi, Ferragamo, Puma, etc. are at the previously discussed Orlando Premium Outlet mall. This is the one closest to Disney, near I-4 and SR535. For store listings go to www.premiumoutlets.com and select Orlando. Not aware that this mall has a courtesy bus. If you've got time for only one outlet mall, this is the one!

This past October we took a taxi from Disney's POP Century Resort to the Orlando Premium Outlet mall. The one way cost was $16. We went around noon, then went to the "Dixie Stampede" dinner show and took a cab back afterwards.

The last time I went in August it cost $15 to get from DTD to the premium outlets. There were plenty of cabs at the oulet center to take us back home.
