Orlando Kids Eat Free Card

I'd be interested in hearing about this too. I did see that the Rainforest Cafe also accepts this card. I never used it but was interested in learning more about it.

I have been checking into this too. There are quite a few city walk restaurants that accept these. It would pay for itself in as little as 2-3 meals.

you can go to this site for more information
http://www.kidseatfreecard.com/
It is showing as 19.95, but I have seen them offered for less on some ticket sale sites. I would just google search. It has quite a few city walk restaurants listed and we plan to stay onsite in March for Spring Break, so I think these will save us quite a bit.

Check it out. I also saw on allears.net it listed some of the menus and prices for some of the restaurants so you can see if it will be a savings to you. We have just come to realize we HATE paying 6.99 & 7.99 for kids meals. Now I won't have too!!

Looks like it can only be used for the kids menu at resturants. Anyone know for sure?

Anyone know a contact phone number or email for the card company? We leave on Thursday so I don't have time to get the card in the mail, but I would love to try it.

If you recieve the Mousesavers Newsletter, there is a special link to the Undercover Tourist website that offers discount tickets. You can get the Kids Eat Free Card for $15.95 which includes tax and shipping.

Just thought I would see who has used this card at City Walk and was it worth it in your opinion? Thinking about getting one for our trip for our two kids but want to know your thoughts first. Thanks!:surfweb:

I saw on the AAA site that you can buy the card from them for 3.99. I am heading to the AAA office tomm. so I will see if they have them.

We used our kids eat free cards at City Walk Universal Orlando. We went to Pat O'Brien's (didn't know they served food but was decent), Pastamoré Ristorante, and NASCAR cafe. Our favorite by far was NASCAR, you could just get sandwiches and they have tons to chose from and still get kids meals. Most of our meals were around $20 which for a sit down meal at Universal is pretty unbelievable.
We did go to use them at NBA city once and they were very unfriendly. It was lunch and they told us we had to order off of the expensive dinner menu to use them (Dinners started at $20 and went up quickly). We thought that was silly so we just got up and left and went back to NASCAR which is just across the water. Pastamore told us that the kids buffet was 9.95 and that we would have to pay $3 difference per kid. I asked them if we could just order off of the kids menu then so it would be free and they said "yes". They will not tell you that, you have to ask.
Pat Obrien's was fun. They served many different sandwiches and had dueling pianos when we were there. Just do not try and use one of their drink coupons that you see in many booklets if you are planning to use the kids eat free card. They will take one or the other. Also in my opinion $10 & $12 for frozen drinks (Hurricanes) are not worth it. Just drink soda or water to save on meal prices.

I hope that helps. We used ours and saved about $14 per meal by doing using the kids eat free cards. You will need 1 card for each child. We were told this many times. If you have any other questions, let me know! We were at USO for 5 days the end of March.

We tried it for our daughter but for us, it just wasn't worth it. There are only a few places at City Walk that accept it and of those there were some my daughter wouldn't eat at at all. For the ones we did try, yes, the child must eat from the kids menu and then we found at some of the places, it was only valid with the purchase of certain entrees which I ended up having to choose even though I didn't really want any of the particular choices. It ended up being no savings for us but for those with a car that may eat outside of City Walk I think it may be worth it.

Where did you see it on the AAA site? I've been unable to find any information. Please let us know what you find out at AAA tomorrow. Would definitely pay for itself quickly if only $3.99.

If you look on this page it shows kids eat free card. I did not get a chance to go this morning, my dr. appt lasted forever but I will go tommorrow for sure. I will let you know.

Thanks! It doesn't show up when I'm logged into my home/midwest area site. Had to put in the Orlando zip code and look at it that way. It doesn't seem to be available to those of us not in the southern region at least online. :sad1:

I just got back from the AAA office and bought the kids card and it was just 3.99. The card came with a list of the resturants that accept it and there were a lot of McDonalds on the list, so if I dont use it anywhere else, I can get him a happy meal and it will pay for itself.

Going to pick one up tomorrow! Glad to know they have a list or I would forget where to use it. Since we are driving and will be out and about in Orlando too, I plan on using this quite a bit. Glad to hear the local AAA South office has this. Thanks!

Oh wait, just thought of something before I hit submit...is there an age limit on the card? Some places could care less of who's eating on the kid's menu but some are strict about a certain cut off age like 10 or 12. My DD16 eats off the kid's meal more than the DD11 does a lot of the time, just because she eats like a bird and is not as an adventurous an eater as her sister. I know McDonald's doesn't care, I can order myself a Happy Meal if I want, but are there sit-down restaurants on the list that doesn't have an age limit specified? Or do they all say, "kids 10 and under only", which is just my luck when I am trying to be frugal. :lmao:

Thanks! :)

I already packed the card in the suit case, but I think that she said 10 and under. My 6 yr old eats like a bird and my 13 yr old is the same way, usually we buy one kids meal and that feeds both of them. Its hard paying so much for a meal when your kid doesnt eat it.

Here's what it says on the website:

"Each Kids Eat Free Card is valid for 1 child (under 11 years of age or younger) with full price paying adult entree. (Example: 2 children with 2 Kids Eat Free Cards, with 2 full price paying adult entree's.)"

Worded a bit funny to me but looks sounds like 10 and under.
