Orlando hotel for 1 night ..

okay guys,

I need to book for my friends a one night stay, family of 4, preferrably somewhere on I-Drive but QUIET (if thats possible) pool, nice, clean, modern, for no more than $130 per night inc taxes ....

any ideas?

Hi, I can recommend the Hampton Inn Pointe Orlando it's not strictly on i drive ( it's universal boulevard)but if you leave the hotel by the back door you're practically at the Bahama Breeze on i drive. It was around £25 a night for four of us in one room and that included breakfast, it's very clean and quiet. We also stayed for one night last August but the previous year we stayed a week.

I can second the Hampton Inn Pointe Orlando, we used this for one night when we arrived in January 2008 as we didn't want to use our DVC points for our arrival night, its a beautiful hotel and the rooms are lovely. We paid around £25 for the night and had a continental breakfast included too

We have stayed in the Rosen Centre at the quieter end of IDrive and can definitely recommend that. I have no idea of the cost though.

Depends on the date but for upto $130(£86) its more or less anywhere they want to stay.
Just looked at Travelsupermarket.com 4-5 stars, loads £45-65/night.
Why Idrive, is there a reason? theres the hotels at DTD area or LBV quiter than Idrive and lots under £86.

I drive - I have no idea why they want it. I'm guessing being their first trip to the US they've heard of it and want but having done the flight with 2 littlies I'm convincing them just to stay in a nice QUIET place as they wont be venturing out for diner that night for sure!

Anyone stayed at the Buena Vista Suites? looked at the Hampton Inn thanks guys, and looking at the BVS as well as its really spacious with a sitting room.

Buena Vista Suites I guess you realise are not on I drive, but if you want a suite on I Drive then Homewood Suites and Springhill Suites at convention centre get good reviews.

Homewood Suites at Convention Centre on I Drive which is quiet end gets a lot of mentions on forums and I think is next to the Hampton Inn Pointe. Some have mentioned that the only issue with Homewood is the pool is quite shaded so have used the pool at Hampton Inn instead.
