I can't remember exactly what the ticket is called but you get IOA, US, Sea World, and Busch Gardens. Has anyone done this and willing to share their experiences? Including whether this package is the best way to go? Would it be less expensive to buy the tix separately? And are there options for front of the line passes at Sea World and Busch Gardens as there at IOA and US?

The ticket is called the Orlando Flex Ticket. It can be found here:

http://tickets.visitorlando.com/Universal-Orlando-Orlando-Flex-Ticket/

It comes in two options: the 5-park (which doesn't include BG) and the 6-park (which includes Busch Gardens). In addition to the parks you listed in your OP, it also includes admission to Aquatica and Wet & Wild waterparks.

If you buy from Undercover Tourist, the 2014 price is $356 per adult, tax included, and the ticket is good for 14 days.

A length-of-stay ticket for SW, BG and Aquatica is $149 per adult, plus tax, via the SW website (for a total of $159).
A 3 park unlimited ticket (Universal, IOA, W&W) is $190, taxes included, via UT.

Those two options total $349, less than the price of the Flex ticket. But I think that the Flex ticket offers you the benefit that you only pay once per day for parking....so if you visit SW in the morning and IOA at night, you would only pay once for parking, save your receipt, and show it at the second venue (someone can correct me if I'm wrong on that).

Busch Gardens and SeaWorld both offer Quick Queue, and both Universal parks offer Express Pass, all of which can be purchased at the park on the day of your visit (pending availability).

Thank you! I thought I read somewhere that Sea World has a hotel that allows special privileges the same as Universals resorts? Do you have any experience with that?

Thank you especially for the comparison pricing. I'll definitely have to check to see if there are better deals on tix once we have our trip dates ironed out. For some reason, I just assumed the package price would be cheaper :(

Yes, the official partner hotels of SeaWorld include an assortment of benefits (including Quick Queue) for free. The full list of perks can be found here:

Those official partner hotels include the properties shown here:

We stayed at the Residence Inn SeaWorld for Christmas 2012.....you can check out the link in my signature for my trip report which includes lots of photos and a full write up of our experience there.

We bought the flex passes a couple of years ago and I thought they were a great value. We were in the Orlando area for 16 days so we made full use of them.

The PP is correct - you only pay once a day to park. Just keep your receipt and show it if you decide to change parks.

Thank you! That's great to know. I'm definitely considering them. :) thanks for your help
