I am looking for a fine dining steakhouse in Orlando. I will be there in September for 2 weeks for my anniversary & that's where we would like to go to dinner. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you

Our favorite is Old Hickory at Gaylord Palms. Shulas is great too, but more family friendly. Old Hickory is more fine dining.

We accidentally ended up at Charley's steakhouse.....we were just fresh from a delayed flight and it was about 9pm (family of five....MIL,DH, DS4 and DS12 and myself). It was not the best place for us to eat that night...so we didn't stay...I can tell you it is definitely fine dining...and it smelled divine!

I have seen a few other recomendations of Charley's on the DIS.

Fogo de Chao: Its not considered "fine-dining" but it is a unique dining experience. It is a Brazilian Steakhouse...they bring out up to 16 different cuts of meat on skewers, along with a few delicious sides (and salad bar!) for a really fun experience. You will NOT leave there hungry. I have celebrated a few birthday's there!
Here's a link to check it out: http://www.fogodechao.com/home/ :thumbsup2

I agree with other's that Charley's is good. Part of a local Central Florida chain, I think there are two or three in the Orlando area.

Christner's (which used to be called Del Frisco's), Morton's or Ruth's Chris might be good choices, too.
