Orlando Car Hire

Last time we visited WDW we landed at Sanford, this year we land at Orlando. I have heard that whilst one of us waits at baggage the other goes off to collect car, to save time. Both of us want to drive just in case the worst comes to the worst and one of us is ill, do we both have to be at the car hire company or can my DH complete all forms on his own?

All drivers will need to go to the desk. However, unless you've got stacks of luggage, you can now take it with you on the tram, so there's no need for the second baggage reclaim in the main terminal. After clearing immigration, you collect your luggage, then clear customs. After leaving the Customs Hall, you take your baggage with you up the escalator and onto the tram which takes you to the main terminal.

Thanks Debbie, the walk through was great. We will just take our time and enjoy everything, we are not expecting to go to WDW on the first day, only shopping as we are staying off site.
