Orlando Airport will not reopen 'till Monday

WESH (Orlando NBC TV) is reporting the Orlando International Airport will not reopen until at least Monday.

Orlando International Airport is closed, and a spokeswoman said they probably will not resume operations until at least Monday.

The way this thing is moving it may not even hit the Orlando area until Monday. I don't think the eye will pass over central FL until Sunday the way it's moving right now.

scheduled to fly out of MCO tomorrow afternoon, but now have to reschedule. Not too concerned about this. We were here during Charley, and now with Frances. I'm more worried about my DB and his wife, whom are currently staying in their home on Melbourne beach. All prayers for their safety (and the safety of all others in the area) will be graciously accepted. I also thought about the Disney Wonder guests yesterday, as they bypassed their regularly scheduled stop in Naussau, Bahamas. I'm continuing to pray for all the folks in the path of this storm, whom have already been affected. Thank you, for all the concern everyone exudes here on the DIS.

I sure hope they'll be ok, it is really getting bad up there and the forecasters think that will be the one fo the worst areas hit by the storm. Are you in phone contact with them?

This storm is just snailing through, as a matter a fact the last report said it stalled. We've been listening to rain and wind for most of the day today and the eye still hasn't made landfall.
