Orlando Airport Hyatt Question?

We're planning a trip in August and airfare has been way too high. One suggestion (from the Dis - thank you!) was to take a late flight one night early and stay at the Hyatt in the airport. That actually brings the airfare down to a more reasonable rate.
Here's the issue: I have 3 little ones, ages 6, 4, and 2. Can we stay in one room at the Hyatt or do we need 2 rooms? If we need 2 rooms, we lose the price advantage. We'll likely bring travel beds for the kids anyway (we're staying in a one bedroom villa and my 4 and 6 year old fight if they share a bed) so it's not a bed issue.

Thanks,
Amanda

We are a family of five. We stayed there last summer when we took a later flight into Orlando. I believe that we had a roll-away bed brought up to our room. With my youngest, up until he was the age of 3 or so, we always had a pack n play or crib brought up to the room. Hope that helps.

A good friend of mine has 3 kids and says Hyatt will not bring a roll away if you have 2 dbl beds (vs. king) She still lets her youngest squeeze in with them and he is almost 13. It's only for 1 nt so no one minds much. Well, I guess the Hyatt might.

I've gotten Hyatt MCO on Hotwire.com many times, $54-74 plus taxes. It's the only 4* in the MCO area that has a Tripadvisor rating of 4.5*. That last part is really important and is the only way to distinguish between Hyatt MCO and Renaissance.
The price usually drops as it gets closer. I'm watching for Sept and Oct and still almost $200.

I have stayed at the Hyatt and I'm a family of 4. You can't get the roll away with the standard 2 doubles room or the standard King room. The front desk told me it's against the fire code.

The max people in the 2 doubles room is 4. The max people you can have in the standard King room is 3

If you go with deluxe or business king room like I did, you have a king bed, a sofa bed and they will allow a roll away. This room is the one I had and is the way to go and I loved it. Hope I was able to help.

How many does the sofa bed sleep?

Thanks all! Good to know!
Unfortunately the airfare went up (again!) on those flights so it's no longer a viable option for us.
Ironically the best deal on airfare has us arriving one day early but still early enough to stay on Disney property. I'm now looking to do a split stay with our 1st night someplace less expensive than BCV (which is where we're staying for the rest of the trip).

Just in case your airfare changes, you can always use Priceline "Name your own Price" option. I have gotten 2 rooms at the Hyatt for $110 ($55 each). I know that you don't have clue that you are going to get the Hyatt for sure. But it may be an alternative.

We are a family of 5 also. Can you get the deluxe or business king through Hotwire or just through a regular booking?

Actually I hadn't thought of this, but my in-laws are traveling with us too...maybe I could stick one of my kids in with them and then just book 2 rooms on Hotwire. But we would need 2 rooms with 2 beds in it...can you tell how many beds are in the room when you bid or do you not find out until check-in. Also if we don't book through hotwire where is the best place to book it? :confused3
Our flight doesn't get in til almost 8 which isn't a big of a deal for my older kids but my little guy goes to bed then. I don't want to subject him to waiting for a rental car and driving down to Kissimmee as then he'll be out of whack for the next day when we go to MK.

EEK..it shows as $179 a night per room right now on Hotwire! Maybe we'll just drive to our rental home and stay an extra night!!
