Dh works for an airline so we aren't 100% sure on our arrival time or date. We should arrive in Orlando & check into CBR on 8/11. However, we may need to fly down the night before if those flights are more open. If we do go down the night of 8/10 it will be around 11:30 p.m. We thought it might be easiest if we just stayed at the hotel inside the airport. We weren't aware of any other close hotels that offered transportation that late at night; and with our dd (3.5) and ds (1.10) it just seems easier to stay there. We were looking for any reviews on the airport hotel. :confused3

Good choice, jndmommy! The rooms are large and clean, the restaurant choices are very good (try breakfast at Hemisphere. If you arrive in time for dinner or a late snack, McCoys is terrific), and there is no noticable runway or take-off/landing noise. Although you are right in the airport you will not be aware of the hustle and bustle once you're in the Hyatt. For added convenience, get your rental car the next morning.

I just stayed there a couple of weeks ago and I have to admit it was pretty nice. The rooms are large, the bathrooms were really nice and the airport itself had a lot for us to do. We strolled the shops, went to the arcade, got some ice cream. It was so convenient to be right at the airport to catch our early flight the next morning.

Would definitely recommend it.

We stay there every trip in or out of Orlando so needless to say, we love it! When you book your room put in any requests you have such as runway view~the staff is great about meeting requests. The pool area is also nice. We find it a very relaxing hotel, even though it's in the middle of everything.(We like to people watch sometimes. :teeth: ) Sometimes we'll just stroll to the main terminal where there are lots of shops and the food court. I also highly recommend McCoy's, although we just order their stuff through room service or by the pool. Here's the link to their website. Good luck!
