Hello! It's our first family trip. One of our twins (age 8) has CP and will be in his wheelchair. What do I need to know about getting from the plane to baggage claim and then to the town car/van service we will be booking? I think I have heard about the "pretend monorail" and I gather there is a transfer from plane disembarkation area to terminal with baggage claim?

Does anyone have any helpful hints? The good news is that his twin is very helpful with bringing his brother's walker along, so that's one less thing to carry - he takes care of this every day going to school, what a sweetie!

Thanks!

I traveled from the Air Tran terminal over to the main area and off to DME last week using my wheelchair. It's all straight forward and there are lots of signs. You'll take the same paths as everyone else except use the elevator instead of the escalator. The "monorail" is similar to Disney's monorail but is bigger and has no seats. Make sure the brakes are on while the monorail is in motion.

Have a great trip!
