Orlando Airport Disney Store Question

Has anyone seen 50th merchandise there, specifically orange bird merch? I have a friend in Florida now (not a Disney fan) and I want to ask her to pick something up for me but I won't bother her if they don't.

I was at MCO 2 weeks ago and the stock in both Disney stores was pathetic, mostly Star Wars stuff or maybe Avengers stuff( my kids are not Into that so I don’t know the difference) . I was looking for a sweatshirt and found nothing.

I found all the stores at the airport to not have much and I checked them all out. I was coming off a cruise ( and had cruise booked flights) so was on the 5:20 flight and had tons of time to check them out. I did find a great little bench out by the parkade by a waterfall and trees so it was a pleasant afternoon.

Thanks for letting me know. That's unfortunate that they didn't have much to offer. Sorry you couldn't find anything you were looking for. I'm assuming there was not much 50th anniversary stuff if at all. Reminds me of our last trip in 2018. I had money to spend and couldn't find anything at World of Disney or any of the hotels shops to buy. We didn't do any of the parks that year so I had a feeling some of the more special items were IN the parks. I definitely feel your pain.

Update: So my friend just went to the store and asked about my orange bird bank and the cast member told her its only in Epcot! They did have some 50th reusable bags though so she got me one of those. Better than nothing I guess!

Me too! This is what I wanted! Not a fan of ebay since the shipping can be outrageous but thanks for looking. Disney Store online has this but their shipping costs are terrible too. Oh well, I don't really need it lol

This might sound strange but those reusable 50th bags are near the top of my shopping list for our trip. They look so nice, and don’t take up luggage space!

Funny story.....so I noticed the Orange Bird bank was part of the 30% off sitewide deal right now on www.disneystore.com so I thought I would see how bad the shipping would be since now I'd be saving $6 off the bird! Are you sitting down? $25!!! So by the time I pay exchange this stupid bird would cost me $40!!!
