When we purchased in 1993, the DVC logo had three mountains, three palm trees, ocean and a "Mickey" moon rising over the mountains.

The logo was again changed around 1996 to reduce the mountains to two and again a few years later to the current logo.
We were told at that time, the original logo also included a nod to the DVC 'Adventurer Programs' by also including a red sailboat, but I had never been able to actually locate an image of that logo.
In talking with Pete this week, I mentioned that I had a few early DVC VCR tapes from the 90's and he asked if I could provide those for The DIS Unplugged. I had converted them to digital format sometime in the last 10 years.
Yesterday, I located the digital copy but the format would not play on our Blu-Ray player and I could not even find a menu by loading it into a computer DVD player so today I ventured up into the attic to try to locate the long-since stored collection of VCR tapes. I was able to locate 3 of the five old tapes.
I did still have a combo VCR/DVD player that I had used to create the digital copy that I could no longer read. So, just in case, I tried the DVD copy in that player and the menu appeared with the five digitally updated tapes but had no way to copy that format to a file or thumbdrive so - long-story-short(er) I found a program to convert the problem format to MP3 format and copy to a thumbdrive. I could not edit the videos the way I would like but hope that Pete can have one of the podcast production team edit the result to upload.
The earliest video was a Disney Vacation Club sales promotion video from 1992, the next from 1995 (with HH as the focus), the next was from 1996 (including comments about VB,HH and BWV), another from 2003 and one was a video mailed to those purchasing from home showing how to fill out the required documents to have notarized and returned via Fedex. On one of these videos was the long-lost logo from 1991.
Here is a screen shot of that logo!
Enjoy!
