Can I bring a copy? Replacing an original can get costly:confused3. Ii just printed out the registration certificate. She will be turning 7 while we are there and this is her only form of ID.

No, from Disney's website:

Q: What kind of identification do I need to show at the gate?

A: Proper valid identification would be a Driver's License including a photo, Government-issued Photo ID, or a Government-issued Passport. If you are under age 18 and don't have any of the above mentioned ID, an original or a certified copy of a Birth Certificate is required. School IDs or children security IDs are not deemed government-issued photo IDs and will not be accepted.

ok I guess I have no choice then:confused3. Thanks

At my town hall, a certified copy of a birth certificate is $10. We have a copy for our son, but when we've traveled, we've always brought a photocopy of that and it's been acceptable for the airport, but if we were going to be there for his actual birthday (and not 2 weeks later, and if he were 3 not 2) I'd bring the certified copy we have. It's a good thing to have on hand anyway.

I agree that it's something handy to have anyway. I've found also that it's something you don't know you need until you need it TOMORROW, which doesn't give you time to get it. :)

Also, your child will need one eventually anyways, possibly for driver's license (I'm not sure), definitely for a passport, and getting married. So if it's only this much $ now, get one and have it. The price will certainly only go up! ;)

I have four copies of my son's birth certificate. They were only $7 each. I carry one with me at all times, with my driver's license, and the others are in my safe.
