I opted to add in the scrap area because some of us don't have a home office.
Scrap room organization can be found here:

Declutter:
1. Go through drawers to separate junk from usable items such as pens, tape, and stamps
2. Divide paper stacks into piles; to pay, to do, to read, to visit, to file. Group other materials such as user manuals, warranties, receipts
3. Cull old papers from existing file systems and countertops. Use a shredder for sensitive, outdated documents such as bank, credit-card or investment statements.
4. Clean out old files on your computer, and scan your computer disks for errors. (Use the help icon on your computer's operating system for more detailed instructions.)

Clean:
1. Wash down surface areas and clean insides of drawers
2. Use cotton swabs lightly dampened with alcohol to clean keys on keyboard
3. Vacuum and clean office chair. Tighten screws and oil mechanism if necessary
4. Vacuum and clean floor, windows and window treatments as necessary

Maintain:
1. Create and label folders, envelopes, binders, or accordion files for your papers
2. Open mail near the wastebasket; throw away what you don't need. Then immediately file the rest.
3. Keep a central a paper and/or online calendar to mark important dates and appointments
4. Keep a basket near the door to hold things that belong in other rooms
5. Make a master list of all your financial accounts, insurance policies and other important financial information. Keep it in a fireproof lock - box with other important documents

Happy Cleaning everyone!!!!

Daily Task
Feb 1 - Start planning summer vacation
Feb 2 - Continue with exercise program even if it's cold outside. Being prepared will still give you a great workout and you will stay warm.
Feb 3 - Gather tax documents and get them organized for you appointment
Feb 4 - Winter blues? Rent a funny summer movie like Grease, National Lampoons Family Vacation, or my favorite RV.
Feb 5 - Start taking out spring coats and clothing to prepare for spring. Check for repairs and send out things to be dry cleaned. Make note of outwear that needs to be replaced.
Feb 6 - Seize the day!! If there is a task you have been procrastinating on, do it today.
Feb 7 - Super Bowl Sunday!!! Enjoy the day with family and friends
Feb 8 - Clean out your email box, purge emails you no longer need. Also clean out the trash bin on email, that stays stored on your computer and takes up valuable space.
Feb 9 - Feb is American Heart month. This is a good month to become more aware of your Heart health. Read a book on healthy eating.
Feb 10 - Check medical records and start scheduling appointments - Dental, annual physical, eye exams, mammograms etc.
Feb 11 - Call a time out on yourself. Take 5 minutes of "Me time" every day.
Feb 12 - Dance like no one sees you!! Put on your favorite happy song (mine is Walkin' on Sunshine by Katrina and the Waves) and boogie down!
Feb 13 - Organize your holiday photos that you just took. Be sure to back them up.
Feb 14 - Happy Valentine's Day!!! Do something special with your sweetheart.
Feb 15 - Moisturize!!!!! Winter has settled in, do not forget to take care of your skin and lips. Stock up on new moisturizer if you are running low.
Feb 16 - Family night! Watch a movie, play a game, or just hang and talk.
Feb 17 - Replace your furnace filter. Do not neglect your furnace. We want it running at maximum efficiency!
Feb 18 - Catch up with a friend you haven't talked to in a while
Feb 19 - Spring is coming soon!! Start making a list of what you would like to accomplish in the up coming season
Feb 20 -Work on making your work station better for you health wise. Do you sit in a chair for long periods? Schedule regular breaks to get up and move around.
Feb 21 - The spring thaw will be coming soon. Make sure your sump pumps are in working order.
Feb 22 - Go through your hot spots and declutter old books and magazines. End table, night table, magazine racks, etc.
Feb 23 - Do something spontaneous!
Feb 24 - Prepare your garden tools for spring. Clean, oil, and sharpen all your tools.
Feb 25 - Go through cupboards and replace old baking supplies. Moisture can ruin baking soda and powder. Throw out flour once a year if you don't use it often.

I'm just going to do the Feb 1st task...28 times! :rotfl2:

Boo to you for throwing the scrap area in - thought we'd be home-free for February since we don't have an office! I do need to clean up there, since I'm right in the middle of lots of swaps and I have stuff spread out everywhere. And I have to find homes in my storage areas for the...cough, cough...new scrappy purchases. :sad2:

I really, really love the daily list! That's great, Buffy! :thumbsup2

How cool is that!?! January has it's own spot, and now Feb is the only one showing. Buffy, that is genius!!

OK, so I'm going to double up on some, but thanks for the Month in Review! Makes it easier to plan...

Starting the 1st a day early... :)

OK I like the 1st...going to do it for a day or 2... Beach, boating, crabbing...yeah, that's goooooood! :D

Yeah hyperlinks are the way to go. It took me forever to figure out how to do it but I love it! It's so much easier to find stuff.

ETA: I will hyperlink each month as we move on.
