Oregon to WDW Will Be Quite the Adventure~Going LIVE!!

Congrats on the GREAT news. I think the 2-3 weeks will go quickly with all of the preparations, both physical and emotional. Good to take the lead from the kids.

Glad Mike is healing well, and it sounds like he'll be ready to handle more sooner than later. YAY!

We've been preparing for a while now, so the wait is killing us. It's so hard on Shyann....she just don't understands why she isn't here. She starts talking about missing her & tears up every time now.

Mike is even better this afternoon.....things seem to be "working" again and that made a huge difference!! Tomorrow is gonna be hard on him..... 3 1/2hr drive each way to go visit "J". We actually have Michayla's caregiver coming along to help handle her and also do the driving. The only time I need a pain pill for my fibromyalgia is when I'm doing long car rides. So now both Mike & I can take our pills and know we're in good hands.

Wow Laurie some fantastic updates! I'm so happy that everything went well with Mike's surgery and major congratulations on the finalizing of J's adoption! I can't wait to hear about S's reaction when J moves in. What an amazing special time for you all! When are you telling J about your trip?

So we have a Family Meeting planned for next Wednesday (the 29th) and at that meeting all involved parties will discuss the plans of moving "J" to our house. Well that meeting was set up late yesterday. Today I got an email stating, they'd like us to spend the night after the meeting so we can bring "J" home with us!!!! So "J" will be here permanently on the 30th!!!!

My heart is overflowing right now......we will be bringing "J" home next Thursday!!! (the 30th) She should have been here all along but I'm guessing that just wasn't the "plan"......but after 9 long years, we are finally able to welcome her into our home.

Can't wait to tell her about our upcoming WDW trip!!

Great news about bringing J home next week. Glad that your DH is healing and things are on the mend. Now that Budget season is nearing an end, I should have more time for DIS. I love all the dining plans. We did a split of QS and TS our first trip and our last trip we only did 2 TS and we missed not having as much unwinding time. I also prefer to be able to sit and order. Buffets are a little more stressful, but then I get to control portions and everyone has a chance of finding something they will eat.

Thank you, we're very excited! Hubby is definitely doing much better but sneezing is PAINFUL!

We enjoy the TS, we like sitting down and relaxing, taking in the theming and being served. Not a fan of standing in long lines & struggling to find enough seats.
