I think I remember reading somewhere that you could order items that aren't directly on the CS menus. For instance, instead of ordering a chicken strip meal that comes with fries, you could just order the chicken strips. Is this accurate?

I know for our family that we really don't eat many fries so ordering one meal with fries and then an extra order of chicken strips or two would be a much better way to feed us all without the waste and expense.

In the past at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe at the Magic Kingdom I have ordered a Hot Dog without French Fries, because I already have Fries with the Cheeseburger I had ordered. So I am sure you should have no problems just ordering Chicken Strips without French Fries.

We order without the fries all the time. Just tell the cashier you only want the sandwich and they'll take about $1.80 off the combo price.

You can do that- also as a side note, one day i just wanted the grapes thast were a side on a kids meal and was able to buy those singly as well

You can buy almost anything at the counter services singly. I never get the fries at counter service places.

Its a great option, i will order just my burger and snitch DH fries:thumbsup2

We also were able to order a single burger at a few places that had only doubles listed on the menu. It's amazing what you can get if you just ask!

We do this all the time - order one sandwich with fries and one without and share the fries. Then we have room for desert!
