Ordering Pizza delivery to OKW?

Who do you guys use? Not the Sassagoula delivery, but the off property ones. I want good and dependable. We have done this but it's been too many years to remember who we used. Thanks!

I second this....we ordered there pizza in June and it was very good. We didn't do delivery but it was very easy to get to.

I can't remember who we used in August, but we called the front desk at OKW and they gave us the name and phone number of several pizza delivery places to choose from.

Can I ask a question that might seem daft - do they deliver it direct to your room - or do they leave it at guest services?

We always use Pizza Hut. The front desk can give you the number for the one in Lake Buena Vista. I call and ask for their specials of the week, decide what we want and call back to order. They deliver to all the DVC resorts.

SSR and OKW (I believe) are condo-style outside entry,
I know at SSR, Giordano's will deliver to your room door.

I have read that at any interior-only resort (All other DVC's) you would have to meet the delivery man in the hotel lobby.

Thanks everyone! This gives me several choices on who to call. I want my son, who will already be at OKW, to call because my plane doesn't land until 7pm. I am getting a rental car but my other nine travelers are taking ME. How soon do you think I should have my son call after 7? I don't want the pizza cold when everyone finally arrives. Thanks for your suggestions.

I had no idea there was a Giordano's there! I grew up in Chicago, and really miss the awesome pizza. We are so going there one night for dinner or lunch!!! Or maybe I will see if they will deliver to BWV lobby for me.

are u driving or taking ME to OKW ?
I'd allow at least 1 hour from the time u land until you get to OKW---maybe a little longer if you have to wait in a rental car line (we waited 30 min for Alamo in Aug !). It's only about a 30 min actual drive from the airport to OKW. Do u have to check-in or will your son have already done that ? If you have to check-in, I'd allow at least another 20 min for that once you get to the resort.
The last couple times we called Giordano's we had a 45 to 60 min wait from time of placing order to the time they arrived at our door.

So maybe have him call around 7:30 to 7:45 pm. It should be at OKW within 45 min to 1 hour. Hope this helps.

Funny thing, until these boards, it never ever occured to me to take pictures of my food. However, we order from Giordano's almost every time we're at OKW and your picture is making my mouth water.

We don't have this type of pizza where we live, so we really enjoy it when we're in Orlando.

Posting to this thread made me remember to call and see if they deliver to AKL... and they sure do!!! I can't wait to get a pizza delivered during our December trip.

Good to know they deliver to AKL too because that is our other home resort. And they have more than pizza which is nice (sandwiches, salads, soups).
