Hi,

We usually buy our tickets directly from the parks upon our arrival, but this year, because of the 30 day fastpass+ window, I plan on ordering them. Any advice? Any recommendations where to order from? Do you pay duty & taxes? On the Disney website, it shows taxes included, so do you still pay duty? TIA!

Undercover Tourist generally has the rep of having the lowest prices around. I know many people who have ordered from them with no problems. Usually arrive in just a few days. :)

We always use UT for our tickets with the added discount through MouseSavers.

There are is no duty on this and we've never paid Canadian taxes on our orders - which all makes sense (North America is duty free, and you will be consuming the goods in the US when you return, so I doubt Canadian taxes could be applied).

Note that UT also ships free, Disney shipping is pretty pricey (US$25 last time I checked).

We use Undercover Tourist all the time.
You pay in USD but your tickets Canadian orders are actually mailed from a Toronto area company. NO taxes/Duties just the price you pay on the site.

From your countdown ticker, it looks like your 30 day window will be opening up in a few days (I assume you're staying off-site since it's a 60 day window if staying on-site). If you order from Undercover Tourist, it will take over a week to have the physical tickets delivered to you in Ottawa. You'll need the number on the back of the tickets to add them to your My Disney Experience so you can book your FastPass+. I haven't heard anyone mention if Undercover Tourist will email you the ticket numbers in advance so you can add them immediately, but someone may correct me.

If you want tickets sooner, you'll have to order directly from Disney so you get a confirmation number which you can use to add your tickets to My Disney Experience immediately. There is a small ticket promotion that Disney World has at the moment (https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/special-offers/get-an-extra-day/):

Special Offer: Receive a FREE additional day on each ticket when you buy a 4-day or longer Magic Your Way ticket. Purchase tickets through August 17, 2014. To take advantage of this offer, call (407) 939-1884 and book by August 17, 2014.

I've ordered from UT 3 times. All orders arrived in much less than a week. Usually about 3 days (not counting the evening I ordered). They ship by courier, not snail mail, so it is pretty fast!

From UndercoverTourist's site, shipping options:

Standard (12 days): Free - delivered Aug. 6

Express (3 days): $30 by FedEx, delivered July 24

You obviously paid the extra $30 Express shipping which reduces the savings compared to the $0 Will Call Disney delivery. I've purchased from them more times that I can remember and they've always originated from Orlando. Maybe I'm choosing unique tickets?

Disney has a Canadian special on right now. You get 1 day free. Have to order by August 18th and have to call for tickets. Check out the disney.com website to see the special.

Agree that 12 days is what it says, but they are CYA for all of Canada. The free shipping has always delivered in a very few days to our major city destination, and my tickets have always come from Orlando as well. I wouldn't pay $30 extra; I order my tickets many weeks in advance.

Just received tickets from Undercover Tourist today. I ordered them last Thursday and they arrived in less than one week (Wednesday).

Just to update everyone with recent experience. They came from Toronto and it was through Canada Post.

Love Undercover Tourist.

I was just coming on here to ask about Undercover Tourist and there it was already asked!
One more question though, will it say the price in Canadian money or will it just say in US and when I get my Visa I find out.
Also, I just signed up for Mouse Savers, should I wait until the Aug newsletter in case there are deals or just go with what is on there now?
We are not going until Dec but I don't want to miss that "extra day" deal.

If you can wait for the Mousesavers newsletter to arrive it will save you a few extra dollars ($8 per ticket on the ones I recently purchased). You can decide if its worth waiting or not. If you want you can PM me your email address and I can send you the July newsletter.

The amount will be charged in US$. It will show up on your Canadian Credit card at the Canadian amount. Your receipt from Undercover Tourist will be for the American amount.

As I mentioned earlier they arrived in 4 business days via snail mail, which is quicker than most other mail I get from Toronto.
