Ordering Necessites - Wine :)

We are going to take advantage of grocery delivery for our upcoming trip - but does anyone know if we could order our wine in too?

We fly in very early on our first day -- and don't think a store would be open that sold wine..... (we use a towncar service with a grocery stop).

Just curious if there was a way to avoid a trip to the store ourselves - or spending the high prices by buying the wine at the Boardwalk grocery area.....

Hi~

We have used Garden Grocer numerous times and have ordered my wine and beer for hubby. You can specify what type you want and they will do their best to get it. I usually give them 2 different brands and they have always been able to get it for me.

We have used wegoshop.com 5 times and always ordered beer and wine from them. Marge always found the wine I requested.

Publix are 24 hour and they sell wine.

Just an FYI for you, JARNJ3 - gardengrocer's website won't list any alcohol. Place your food order, and during the checkout process there will be a "comment" section - that is where you should tell them what it is you're looking for.

Thanks - I wrote to their customer service last night - they also said I had ato fax them a copy of my drivers license too.

Not sure if they do. Or you could do the one grocery stop enroute just for the wine

The Super Walmart is open 24 hours and sells wine as do most all of the grocery stores. That said we used wegoshop on this trip, they'll deliver a grocery list of your choosing at store prices plus delivery fee, within minutes of your occupying your room. Reserve in advance though as they book up.
