My daughter drinks only orange juice. If I order from Garden Grocer.com there is a $40.00 minimum order. I don't think I will need $40 worth of juice or anything for a week, especially since we have the dining plan.

Any other places where I can order from or any ideas on what I can do with extra juice to keep it cold? I can't fit alot of juice in those small fridges anyway.
We are staying at Port Orleans Riverside (inside Disney).

What do I do? help!

Have you thought about using your snack credit to buy singles of OJ to bring back to the room?

If you are going to have a car, you can certainly go offsite to one of the grocery stores or Walmart if all you need is OJ.

If you want to try to get up to $40...

-other snacks
-bottled water or other beverages for the rest of your family

Thanks, we won't be renting a car.
I wonder if the hotel would keep some of the juice in their fridge? If I order it, I am not sure what would fit in those small fridges and I need enough for a week. :confused3

I would also suggest other drinks and snacks for the rest of you. DH and I always do the DDP, but we also have snacks and soda/water in our room for a quick breakfast or just when we have the munchies.

As to your other question, I do think that the hotel would hold some for your in their fridge, just not sure you would need that much OJ even for a week.

Good luck with whatever you decide.

OK problem solved if the hotel can store some of my juice (small amount). If I order snacks and dish soap I am good to go with the minimum order.

You could also check out the resort shop. I know the shops at the resorts with DVC lodgings carry larger sizes (more than single serving) of milk and juice. POR might do so as well.

Another option is WeGoShop. They have no minimum order. Their shop/delivery fee is a little higher than Garden Grocer ($17 vs $12), but they shop at whatever store you specify and you pay the cost of the items without any additional markup outside of the $17 fee.

I wouldn't worry about not being able to fit the juice in the fridge. The fridges are the larger dorm style. There was plenty of room for a few 1/2 gallon containers of milk or juice, plus extra space. I know I've seen pictures of the fridges somewhere on the disboards. Maybe try a search for that.

I had the same problem.
I looked at it from a breakfast angle. I ended up buying some fresh fruit, muffins, yoghurt, mini cereal bowls, etc plus some gatorade stuff and snacks to munch on around the pool. Things I didn't want to pay an arm and a leg for in the gift shop but knew we'd want to have.
And I knew we'd need the breakfast stuff anyway and if we don't use it all, we can take it back home with us. No biggie.

Do you plan on doing laundry there? I used Garden grocer & it was great!! Yes there is a $40 min. purchase but we ordered laundry det., some breakfast bars & snacks just to have. We ended up taking some home but at least we didn't spend $$$$ on that stuff at the resort. Although, we did have free dining & did have 5 counter services left!! If you check what GG has you may be able to but some things instead of packing them!

Bring a collapsable cooler with you or empty the hotel trash can put a nice clean trash bag inside and fill it up with ice from the ice machine.
We have 2 milk fanatics who cannot live without their morning milk and this has worked everywhere we have travelled.
