Ordering Girl Scout Cookies on CoCo Direct

I'm hoping you wonderful Disers can help me since DD's troop leader never answered my email. My DD set up an online account at abcsmartcookies.com. There they can access CoCo Direct, where people can order cookies online. There's a certain e-card she has to send to people so they can order and PAY online. Well, she accidentally sent the wrong e-card to someone. They ordered cookies, and it said "Order submitted." There was no place for them to pay. My question is, where will the cookies be sent to? Would it be to her troop leader? And I assume the friend that ordered would just send a check to the troop?

I am a service unit cookie manager... I can answer that!

Those other ecards are just cookie "promises". The girl will have to order her cookies through her Troop Cookie Manager, deliver them in person and collect money in person. Some girls choose to run a order report. Others just write them on their order card. They aren't shipped anywhere.

If your friend is too far away to handle a traditional cookie transaction, just ignore her order (it doesn't go anywhere) and send her a coco direct e card as you meant to. The coco direct ecard is the last option on the list.

You should probably direct questions to your Troop Cookie Manager, and not the leader (unless the TCM is the troop leader). It's the cookie manager that is taught this info, not necessarily the leader.

Also abc bakery has its own FAQ, help desk... So you can use that as a resource

And in some Serice Units not even the cookie managers are taught anything. I'm a leader/cookie mom and I was not given any training. So I'm trying to figure it out on my own. We have new leadership in our SU this year and they suck.

ANOTHER QUESTION!!!!! So I just sent the correct e-card to the friend, and now she's saying they only sell by the case? Can't she just buy individual boxes?

No, in coco direct they can only buy in 6pk or 12 pk of one flavor... Or an 8pk of 1 of each flavor.

I always send myself an ecard so I know how it works before sending it out.
