Ordering food to be delivered to hotel

I know that this has been asked a zillion times, but the darn search thing is not working...still, so I can't find the answer I am looking for.

I read SOMEWHERE on these boards (I have been in so many of them that I can't remember which one ) about several places that will deliver. One mentioned a place where people had e-mailed and received an answer from the owner??? and they were able to also deliver alcohol to the hotel. Can someone please let me know if they remember which one this was?

Also, how far in advance do I place my order? We arrive 5/21 (plane lands at 5pm). Thanks again!!

The original posting was about grocery deliveries, however, about pizza...

First, what resort are you staying at? We are staying at one of the value resorts, and we can order pizza as a room service delivery. In fact, it is the only room service they have... pizza, a few sandwiches(steak sand., etc) there is no "regular" room service. According to DW main site, only the value and moderate resorts have pizza delivery. see here:

I do not know if there are any places out side the world that deliver or not. I hope this helps!

We're staying at Pop Century. I knew about the resort pizza delivery, I just thought you might know of somewhere else.(we're not crazy about the resort pizza) Thanks anyway, I'll have to do a little research on it.

I've heard a number of times that people have ordered from Pizza Hut. They just had to meet the driver in the lobby to pick up their order, as opposed to the driver bringing it to the room. I don' tknow about other establishments though.

We were quite happy with the Papa John's pizza we had delivered to our villa at OKW in January!

I ordered Domino's a couple years ago at BWV , they stay open til 3 am . It was the only thing opened that we could find to deliver and like someone already stated you just meet them in the lobby.

We used www.wegoshop.com, when looking for the delivery areas look for WDW. You will fill out a form and send your list be very specific about what you want.
We ordered lots of snacks, case of bottle water, 12pks of soda, beer and wine coolers. Was so nice to have these things waiting for usin our room when returned from a hot day at the parks.

They called us to confirm delivery and time. Were very prompt. delivered right to our room.Everything that was to be cold was in coolers. The charge was worth it since we did not have a car and buying these items was way more $$. Plus they will shop where you ask, they got our stuff at Wallmart, so we familiar with the brands, sizes of what we wanted. We got an itemized receipt for all the charge.
Goodings also delivers, not sure about booze.

When it comes to pizza, all of the area pizza places dleiver to the resorts. I went on my junior high school senior trip to Orlando in 2001, and on our last night we ordered a few pizzas for everyone. It arrived within a half hour (which seems like a while, but there were 30 pies being delivered!), and was pretty good. It wasn't NY pizza, but it wasn't as bad as the resort pizza!
