Ordering an Entree as an Appetizer?

My husband and I are going to Disney in Feb. for our first couples only trip. We booked Topolinos Terrace for my birthday dinner. None of their appetizers appeal to me, so I thought we'd order the Rigatoni entree as our appetizer (obviously sharing) and then order steaks for our regular entrees. Is this ever done? I've heard of ordering apps in entree size, but never the reverse. If I'm crazy, I'll just enjoy two cocktails for my appetizer.

Are you looking for them to make a smaller version of the dish for you to have as an appertizer? Or are you looking to order three entrees (between the two of you), with one served first? The latter is doable, but I suspect the former might not be.

I'm sure they'll let you order it, but it will be full entree size.

It's an ala carte menu so you can order as many entrees as you want. If you tell them that you are sharing, they will more then likely bring it out on 2 plates for you.

This is not a big deal at all. Order the rigatoni. If you'd like it brought out first, just let the server know.

We have ordered several entrees as a shared appetizer without an issue.

Heck, you can order 5 entrees and 10 appetizers if you want. Don't forget to throw in a few desserts.
