By any chance does anyone have any info on ordering a birthday cake in advance? :cake: :cake: :bday: :bday: I was given a number when I called to book advanced ressies at Cinderella's royal table, but I just wanted to see if anyone has pictures or anything about these Chef made cakes. Oops ...cost of them too would be greatly appriciated.

I would like to know too. I would like to have a wedding cake recreated. I know it would have to come from the Grand Floridian. Does anyone have the number for the bakery? By the way, anyone who ordered those mini cakes with the castle on them, how far in advance did you need to order that?

WDW firt-timer, Sorry to hijack your post.

I am thinking that the cakes are around $25 or more. I know those little minni cakes are $25. They are much smaller then a normal size cake, but then again a lot more detail go on them.

I heard that if you order from the GF bakery you have to be eating in one of the restaurants at the GF, is this true??

Anywho here is the number for the GF bakery. 407-824-3186 and ask for the bakery.

:cake: :bday: :cake: :bday: The one disney person that I talk to mentioned something on the lines of the cakes being around $15.00 to start. Now no clue how many that feeds and how they are decorated.

Here is the number just incase you need to call

I see that everyone is getting all different prices...... Someone has to know something on this .....

I called about a birthday cake yesterday for my son at Chef Mickey's (dining told me you must call the resturant and talk to the manager or pastry chef). The manager told me it would be $16 for a cake to feed 4-6 people, don't know if that included tax. My trip isn't until September so she said to call back a few weeks before--- because they are "always" changing things.

Thanks for the info....did they by any chance tell you if it's decorated or has a candle???? Thanks for the help anyways.

Check out the Food link on this board. I saw someone posted a pic of a birthday cake they got a CRT.
I think its on the 3rd or 4th page.
I'll try to look it up again and post a link for you later today.

When we were there in May the ones I saw were just a normal decorated birthday cake (square shaped) and a candle. When I called the main dining number they told me you can do lots of different things--- his example was someone wanted a three tier b-day cake made and had it presented at whatever resturant they were at.

This is what I did for our upcoming August vacation. We will be celebrating my dd's 4th birthday, I was given the number too when caling for CRT!!! I contacted the Poly concierge where we'll be staying and they ordered it for me. The cost for the cake was $40 for a 10" cake then we had Alice and wonderland decorations on it and that was another $30 plus delivery fee and tax. I belive the cakes come from the GF bakery, the same one they make all the yummy wedding cakes at! However on a previous trip we ordered a cake at the Boardwalk bakery and realy liked it, that cake was around $25 but we had to pick it up ourselves! Hope that helps you!

We special ordered a cake from 1900 Park Fare earlier this year, and we were told to contact the restaurant itself. It may be different for a restaurant in the park, but for ours we just called the switchboard of the GF and asked to speak with the manager. We left a message and he called back within 2 hours to take our order. And it was the yummiest chocolate cake I have ever had!
