I know that I have seen several threads regarding this. However, I don't have the option to search for threads anymore. But I wanted to order a birthday cake for my BIL. Where is the best place to get a cake? Can I pick it up? Does anyone have any phone numbers?

When we were at POFQ we ordered a cake from the food court. They had a form to fill out with the options such as what size and what to put on it. I remember thinking the price was very reasonable.

Confirm cake 407-939-8687

This is the number Disney told me to call 48 hours prior to delivery. We will have a cake delivered to dinner at Chef Mickeys. I can't comment on the service as I have never used it.

WE did this and I have have to say they delivered it for the Celebration song in the middle of our meal. Took it away and then took it back out again as we were leaving. The cake was nothing special (no name allowed, etc) and cost $15 for a 6 inch cake. We got the free cupcake at CRT and Crytal Palace didn't request it, it was on our ressie that we were there for DS birthday and they did this themselves and they were WAYYYY better for a birthday IMHO. THe princess actually signed my sons placemat and the charaters and waitress at CP signed the card. Table was decorated and really cute. The table at Chef Mickeys was not decorated and the placemat is already sealed in plastic so no charaters could sign but it had their signature on it. Just call Dinsey Dining they will give you the number for the resturant or resort kitchen you want.

pirate: The CM gave me a number of 407-824-2660 to order a birthday cake.

Sorry I don't have a number for you, but I know you can pick up a cake ordered from the Boardwalk Bakery.

I picked up the one I ordered for my daughter 12/04. Good luck.

Winnie,

How did you order that gorgeous cake? And congrads!

You can pick up a birthday cake at the bakery on Main Street in the MK. It's a yellow cake with a whipped cream frosting for $14.00. I needed a chocolate cake so I called room service from our room at the WL and they had a chocolate cake sent to the room in 10 min. Complete with plates, napkins, candles and matches. I think with the rs charge it was around 20.00 and boy was it good!

The Mickey cakes at the Boardwalk bakery look fantastic. I think they are 25.00 and usually have them in the case.

I ordered it from the GF Bakery directly. Got it at our dinner easily since we ate at 1900 Park Fair. It was just perfect. You can also order it ahead of time and then pick it up for your special occasion away from the GF.

Blessings,
Winnie

Oh Winnie, thanks for sharing those pictures of you and Fred. You guys are just so stinkin' cute together. The cake was beautiful. Did it taste as good as it looked? Maggie

I am not winnie put I believe that cake is about 57 dollars. The 6inch cake topper as the GF bakery calls it is 45 and I believe the mickey and minni on top is 12. If you are eatting at the GF they can deliever it for you during a meal.I just ordered one yesterday with gold mickeys stamped into the fonadant. It will be beautiful. They can make whatever you want.

We are celebrating our 13th anniversary at WDW in September. We have reservations at the California Grill. Does any one know if I can order a cake for our dinner? I loved your cake Winnie.

My best advice is to call the CG directly and ask for their bakery. I'm sure they can do something really nice for you. We called them last year for our anniv. dinner, and I ordered the chocolate Mickey with tuxedo strawberries. I believe they do the slipper as well. But I'm sure they do cakes as well. I do not have the #, but call 1-407-WDW - DINE and they can either connect you or give you the #.

Hope this info helps. And best wishes!!
Blessings,
Winnie

is there anything on the BD cakes that say "Birthday "or could you use them for an anniversary?the little wedding cakes are very pretty but i don't know that i want to spend that much( cheap cheap cheap) for a cake i really don't need to eat anyway! do all resort restaurants make them up or do you have to get them from a certain resort or bakery like it sounds like you need to for the wedding cakes? if not, do any of the resorts have any kind of special occasion cake/ dessert you could just get there at the place you are eating( guess i am lazy but don't know if i want to trug on a bus with a box of cake that i would probably manage to drop any way)
