What's the number for GF Private Dining? I would love to order a couple of special desserts to be in the room one night. Seeing as we're celebrating my mother's birthday, she deserves something extra special.

I paid for it ahead of time. Also when you check in for the tea make sure to remind them that you have a slipper. Last year I did not do this and it kind of blew the suprise when I had to ask the watiress about it. And then they could only find the slipper and not the cake. Well in the end they did find the cake, but I learned my lesson to inquire ahead of time.


BTW Mister Disney you are making me hungry for Disney with all of your pics I have so many things I must try now

We will be arriving in WDW in 14 days for our 3rd visit to GF!! I had never heard of these specialty desserts and would love to try them this year. Do you need to order them far in advance? I'm thinking of ordering them for our first night to "kick-off" our magical vacation!

I think they ask for 24 hours minimum, 48 is better

When I ordered cakes and slippers in the past I was asked for a credit card number in case of cancelation. I paid for the items when the bill arrived at tea and also saved 20% because of the DDE card.Plan on doing it again in september.

Yummmmmm............ I can't wait for December!! Going to get the slipper for my kids and the cake for DH and my 10th wedding anniversary! Now I just have to figure out when I want them, and where (1900 Park Fare or in room).

Good point! I think I'll have them delivered one night when we're taking it easy.

You can have them sent to your room if you are staying at the Grand Floridian.. they are also only available at the Gf restaraunts no CG.
