Ordered my MUSICAL HISTORY OF DISNEYLAND this morning

Whew! I should have known they would go on pre-sale today! Disney always releases things on Tuesdays!

If you don't know about this cd, it is the 50th anniversary 6-cd box set of the music of Disneyland. The LE is limited to 5,000 copies and has a gold 33 RPM record of "Walt Takes You To Disneyland". After 5,000 LE are sold, they will sell the set (for the same price as the LE) unlimited, but without the gold vinyl.

Go to www.disneydirect.com, click on Movies & Music, then Music, and there it is!

So glad I woke up early today!!!! Now I hope I get the LE like my receipt shows!!!

I just would like a little more information before investing $124, I understand the gold vinyl is unique, and special, but is there music? Is it like the Walt Disney World CD I bought? What is Disneyland Resort?

There is also a new CD coming out for the 50th Celebration with music from WDW including tracks from Horizons and World of Motion! This is only a 2-CD set though. I hope it will be released soon!!

I'm glad you were able to get one!!! Maybe they decided to release more pre-orders when they went so fast. Disney is loving the quick cash they are getting on this collection!

According to the link in laurabelle's post, the non-LE sets will be the same price as the LE sets.

I also believe we all got the LE set. Guess we will know for sure in a week or so!
