I thought I would take the plunge and take advantage of the great exchange rate and order my APs today :cheer2:
A quick 20 minute call to WDW CRO (hope the boss doesn't check the phone bill too closely :earseek: ) and my passes were on order :earboy2:

Yippeeeeeeeee, Tim!

The exchange rate has made them even cheaper hasn't it? I'm pleased I decided in the end not to buy mine till....next week!

Excellent Tim, way to go...you should get a good deal :cool1:

Good for you Tim. :earboy2: I'll be thinking about you & Lorraine.

You guys are making out with this exchange rate.

Hi Steph - thought I'd better reply in case you tell me off again :p

Doesn't 'making out' means something else in the US?

I'm just waiting for the AP pass transaction to appear on my on-line credit card statement to see what rate I got :) I've used my Nationwide Gold Card so it should be a commission free rate :)

Yes. I guess your teenagers don't use that term over there?

DH has been given the all clear to fly again following all his surgery etc etc so I may buy our AP's while the exchange rate is so good. Am I right in thinking that if we aren't going until August I can still order them now to activate when we arrive or has that system changed, and they start expiring immediately? I can never remember.
Carolyn

If you order them from Disney CRO you get sent vouchers that you need to activate at any Guest Relations in the WDW parks or DTD. The date you activate them is the day your year starts :)
You will need photo ID for all AP holders when you activate them.

Tim got them too!!! Oh the excitement to hear that lovely Disney voice again. Wheeeeee!!!!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :cheer2: :cheer2:

Got my AP vouchers today via DHL :)

Checking on credit card statement I got $1.937/£1 so quite happy with that :cool1:

That works out at £208.75 per AP ticket - that's cheaper than a 10 day pass from Keith Prowse :earseek: and only a little more than a 7 day hopper.
