Ordered a phone and got a router????

I ordered a brand new cell phone off ebay and came home to a package from the seller. Inside was a not new router. WTH? I don't know if the seller mixed his labels up or what. I really needed the phone too. I emailed him but no reply yet. UGH

Sounds like a box mix up BTDT. Hopefully whoever get the phone also contacts the seller.

Yep, it was a label mix-up. Luckily, he has multiples of the phone, so he is sending out a new one. He told me I could keep the router, but it is not even a wireless router. I told him if he would Paypal the postage and send me the address, I would send it on to the buyer, but he said not to bother. He just wants positive feedback when I get the phone. Since I have had nightmares about mixing up packages, I won't hold it against him, as long as I get my phone.

there are some shady sellers on ebay..and in the event that he may try a dispute saying you kept the router instead of returning it to him, or files a grievance, you will have proof..also..don't leave feedback till you have the cellphone safely in hand..and, if the cost of postage isn't outrageous for you, I would send him back the router using delivery confirmation..he can always resell it

Can you tell I've been 'burned' once or twice on ebay?..I learned the hard way to keep all proof of an auction/delivery till I'm sure it's never gonna be needed again..lol!

It all went through MyEbay, so I think I am good. I will keep the copies that were sent to my email as well. The phone was only $20, I hate to spend $7 or $8 to send the router back.
