Orbitz tickets and upgrading to annual pass

If you buy the Orbitz buy 4 days get the 5th day free and you decide to upgrade to an annual pass, do they use the price you paid with the free day(4 days) or do you get the value of the 5 day ticket? Sorry, I know this has been asked before but I couldn't find any info about it. TIA!!

Reports have varied, but most have received full price toward the upgrade. Last time I bought Orbitz tickets, there was no price listed on the voucher that you exchange at the ticket booth, so I don't really think they know what you paid for it and they treat it like a regular 5-day.

Good to know. We're going to be buying DS his first AP in Jan so maybe I'll buy the Orbits ticket to upgrade.

We did this in September and they put the price of a 5 day ticket towards the AP, not what you paid for the ticket. So it ends up being a deal.

I was told to be sure to use the ticket for at least one day. I did that and exchanged my 4 day (orbitz) ticket for an annual pass. I then worried that because I bought an AP that had weekend blackout dates I might have lost 2 days that I had planned to enter the park! But, no, the AP was honored as if it were my original ticket including weekends for 13 (?) days (or however many days your ticket is good for after it's first use)
