Orbitz promo code max $150 savings

I was trying to book our Disney trip using the promo code ONMYWAY for an extra 15%. I noticed that only $150 was coming off, so after I looked at the terms and conditions, it says that the maximum discount with the promo code is $150.

I wonder if this is the way forward? I was hoping to stay deluxe with a $400+ savings. I might just book directly though Disney now and buy discounted Target gift cards through Raise and then Disney gift cards online.

I've noticed Orbitz isn't the great deal it once was. It seems some hotels price out better on Orbitz and some on Disney.com. I've also noticed that the ticket discount used to be more significant (6% off and more at times) on ebates; recently it's only been 1%.

New 15% off code released today (GOTIME) and it also maxes out at $150 off. Of course they still stack with Disney's discounts, but it's no longer such a great deal (for us anyway).

Ya, this is disturbing. Usually $150 is the most that I could discount anyways, but this is not a good sign. 15% off codes are the norm now, as I have not seen a 20% off in a really long time. Remember when Cheap Tickets allowed for the codes on Disney resorts and now they don't. I am afraid that the discount codes could eventually become lower and lower with Orbitz.

Just to let people know, I have tried all diff. promo codes on Orbitz.
I wanted a Preferred room at PO-Riverside and the best code was "REVIEW15"

All the codes gave me the same price for a Garden view, but only REVIEW15 made a better deal for the Preferred location.

Give that one a try before you book!

If you have a long stay, you might be able to book it in half with two different reservations and get more than $150 off. But I would not do that unless I had at least a 7-8 night stay, or unless I have an extremely high rate room.
