Just checked dates again. I've been waiting for the buy 3 or 4 day park hoppers, get the extra day free deal. Its now available for 2015 dates.

NOTE: Interestingly, when compared to parksavers.com, the 3-day (with 4th free) is cheaper on Orbitz, but the 4-day (with 5th free) is $1 less on parksavers. I've never used them, and I save up "orbucks", so I'll still use Orbitz, but just wanted to share.

Don't forget to go through Ebates to get some cash back. I think right now it's 3% back on activities. Cheaptickets has the same deal but you get 6.88% cash back with Ebates. If you can wait until Feb to buy your tickets, the past few years Ebates offered 20% back for Orbitz activities. That was AWESOME!

Our trip is in March. Is this deal a better buy it right now kind of thing, or can I wait until after I've paid off the Christmas bills?

I've seen Orbitz and Cheaptickets offer this deal all year, so I don't think there's a rush to buy. I would wait until the new year, and possibly even Feb to see if Ebates offers the 20% cash back.

I've never ordered through Orbitz before. I can find the 13 day valid to date but can't find the actual dates that they are all valid. I know I came across another site recommended here but they expired Dec 31, 2014. Can someone point me to the spot where it shows the expiry date? Or do they not show up on the site if my dates don't match the valid to date?

Has anyone had issues redeeming these at the Disney hotels? I'd rather be able to do that than go to a ticket booth. :)

WOW I had no idea about this get a day free deal. I've purchased my tickets with Orbitz before and they have been a fantastic company to deal with. I will definitely be purchasing my tickets through them with this deal. Thanks for sharing the info.

if I am in Canada, can I still purchase the tix through Orbitz? has anyone from Canada purchased from them before?

do they ship the tix to my house? and if so, it shipping to Canada from Orbitz a lot more?

From what I've read, I think you just print out the vouchers and then redeem them at DL.

I believe you can order from Canada. It let me go all the way to the payment section and I put in Canada as my location.

If you do buy them through Orbitz, I recommend going through ebates.ca and then to Orbitz. As far as I remember, ebates is giving 3.75% cash back for activities.

Although, I just did the math today and unless you have a US $ account, the exchange rate might just kill any advantage in cost and it might be a slightly better deal to get them through Flightcentre.ca since their price is in Canadian funds.

Thanks Aladora, you are right. I think I'll book through Flight Centre tomorrow! I did the exchange converter and we'll save a decent amount just going through there instead.

Well, I will call them tomorrow (Flight Centre) but this is still showing on their site:

****The 3, 4, and 5-Day Park Hopper Tickets with Magic Morning entitle Guests to admittance to both Disneyland Resort theme parks for the specified number of days, including visits to both theme parks on the same day. These tickets expire 13 days after first use or on January 1, 2015, whichever occurs first

If they don't have ones good for our February trip in 2015, then I'll book through Orbitz. :)

I would agree with the pp's....there's no hurry to buy these now. And like I said, if you're going with the 4-day (get 5th free), at face value its cheaper by one dollar to use parksavers.com. BUT, if you collect Orbucks like I do, and you use Ebates, then yes, Orbitz is the spot.

You do have to print off a voucher and take that to the ticket booth or a Disney hotel and exchange it for your tickets before going through the turnstiles. But, we've done this numerous times, and its no problem. Just one person out of every 6 people in your group has to do it (since you can only buy 6 at a time thru Orbitz). And that person needs to be the one whose name is on the voucher, and of course you need your ID.

If you want to check your dates, just enter your travel dates in the spot in the upper left and it'll give you the prices.

They should have the 2015 tickets soon, I think I'm going to wait until it gets a bit closer to our Feb dates and check on the exchange rate at that point. Worst case scenario is that I get them through Flightcentre and not worry about getting hooped on the exchange rate!

Yes, I agree. I am still going to call to see if they know when the 2015 days are being released and then just wait. The exchange has to get better too........right........? :worried:

Do you recall them offering the rebate that high(20%) more than once? We were lucky enough to stumble upon it last year and I felt like I won the lottery! :cheer2:

I was thinking this must have been some kind of deal that only comes around once. And it was gone in less than a week if I remember right.

I think the 20% is only offered once a year. I read on the budget board that it was offered in Feb 2014, Feb 2013 and Oct 2012. It was not offered in Oct this year. Of course, there's no guarantee that it will be offered again in Feb, but if you don't need tickets right away then there's no harm in waiting until then to see if they do offer it.

Most of the Ebates offers are only available for one week, so you do need to jump on it when you see it.
