Orbitz discount questions

Hello everyone.

I'm new here, however I have been lurking/ following for a bit. We have our trip planned from Oct23-28. Those dates have been excluded from the current promotions. I was looking on orbitz and saw some disney hotels discounted then an extra 15% off the room.

If I booked there, how could I add the dining plan and tickets?

If any new promotions become available, how would it apply? Could it be combined with orbitz discount, would I need to cancel and rebook?

I currently have our trip booked through disney. Would I lose the dining reservations made with that resort package of I cancel it?

First, call Disney to see if they can match the promo. If not, use Orbitz if it's a 15% discount. Once you have your Disney confirmation number and set up 'My Disney Experience' you should be able to access all the perks that staying on property get you.

You wont be able to get the dining plan with a reservation though Orbitz but you can link fast passes, tickets etc once you get your reservation number and link it online

Yes! You will have the opportunity to customize the bands up until a few weeks before your trip.

Just an update.

I called Disney. They do not match any promotions or prices. I was also told the dining plan cannot be added to a room booked through Orbitz.

I was told the same thing but I found that renting a DVC unit was going to be less expensive than the rate I could get with Orbitz and you can purchase the dining plan when you rent a unit so I am going to try that out. With a 16yo boy I really need to have the dining plan, that kid is hungry all the time!

You won't lose the ADR's you've already booked if you cancel your reservation with Disney and went through Orbitz.
