Hi!

I'm in the planning stages of our first trip to DLR for February 2017, I'm trying to figure out what is going to offer me the best discount. I know a lot of times stacking the Disney discount with the Orbitz/Cheaptickets etc. discount codes winds up being the cheapest for WDW, and from a few searches that looks like it can be the case at DLR as well.

My question is there is no availability at any of the onsite properties on the third party booking sites like Orbitz for my dates, we wanted to stay at DLH. Is it possible that they haven't released Feb. 2017, or are they really completely sold out on those sites as it states? If that's the case I will just add funds to my DVA and book directly through Disney.

I'm fairly sure that they have not yet released anything into 2017 yet. There is no availability onsite in 2017 at all through Orbitz but there is when I look at Dec. 30/31, 2016.

Same for Expedia and Cheaptickets.

Great! I had a feeling that they might just not have been released yet. Thanks for checking Dec. I hadn't thought to do that!

I'm in the same boat and I've booked off site for Jan 3-6 with the current Orbitz promo (15%) and my orbucks to be sure we have a room. We will wait for Disney to release rooms to my "go to" discounters (Orbitz/cheaptickets). I'm hoping to use over $130 in orbucks, 15% orbitz discount, 3% ebates and a 15-20% Disney discount on the same trip! I did it for Spring Break last year and it worked perfectly. Sometimes the cheaptickets discount is higher (18%), but I've accumulated so may orbucks that it looks like Orbitz is the way to go this time for us.

Even if Disney doesn't release rooms, we have the Tropicana for $118/night tax included due to Orbitz "stacking", (Orbucks, insider rate and promo)!

BTW - Expedia, Cheaptickets and Orbitz are all owend by the same company....
Good luck
Mike
