Orbitz and disney discounts

where do I find the link to make the DME bus service reservations.
I assume they want my airline info but can't find a place to put it.

I'm not totally sure how this works, because I don't use DME, however, after you put your information in MDE (My Disney Experience), within a day or so you'll get a welcome email from Disney itself. This email will have your Disney 12-digit confirmation code on it. At that point, you can just call Disney directly, reference your 12-digit code, and have them take care of your DME reservations. You can, of course, also call Orbitz. I had special room requests last year and I called Orbitz and they called Disney for me--while I was also on the phone, so that I could hear exactly what was going on. Worked out fine.

I was sure you could do this on MDE, but perhaps not! Nevertheless, it can be done.

You need to have your resort confirmation number, which for an Orbitz booking will be a six character code that has a combination of letters and numbers. The code is on the confirmation that Orbitz sends. That six character code is what I used to link my Orbitz reservation to our MDE account.

Last year I had to call Orbitz to get the Disney code. But now it seems as if Orbitz is sending it with the confirmation, which it nice.
 
Wow! I have learned so much from this thread!:thanks:Thank you all - I had never thought of booking through Orbitz. Right now my dates are not included in the discount, but I'll certainly keep looking as time passes. Question: some of you had mentioned not including your children on the ressie, but then calling and adding them later. Why do you do that? What am I missing? :magnify:
 
Well, I found the answer regarding adding children later in a different thread, but we have 3 adults as well. I'd like to stay at CBR or POR, but will need the pull down bed. Is there any way to request that?

I booked yesterday afternoon 2 days at Pop and 2 at FQ for mid January but wrote the address incorrect in both reservations. I cancelled inmediatly and rebooked. At night while checking my credit card transactions almost had a heart attack, I found 8 transactions from Orbitz instead of 4 (2 cancellations and 2 reservations). The 4 transactions were repeated twice. After calling Orbitz they say not to worry that everything will be cleared in about 3 days. No explanations of why this happened. I was so happy with the discounts but really worried the charges will no clear out.
 
Booked through Orbitz yesterday and linked to MDE. The reservation says "LBM Room Only" Anyone know what that means?


Did you every find out what this means? I reserved a room via debit card rewards and our reservation says LBM room only in My Disney Experience. The cast member I spoke with who helped us link it up did not know what it meant! It is driving us crazy trying to figure it out!
 
Thankfully all the extra Orbitz extra charges in my credit card were cleared out.

DisneyFeb2013: I have 2 reservations one is LMB room only and the other ANN room only. They may be codes assigned by Orbitz or Disney.
