Can anyone give me info about this timeshare. What type of onsite activities are there, any mini-golf, basketball, etc. Is the pool or pools heated? If you have stayed before, could you suggest a room location to be VERY near a hot tub. Your opinion would be appreciated. Thanks.

RCI resort description: For an activity-packed vacation, Orbit One Vacation Villas is the ideal resort choice. On-site amenities include a racquetball court, two lighted tennis courts, outdoor swimming pools, a playground, and a video game arcade. You'll also find boating, fishing, and other water sports offered at various area lakes. Excellent golfing facilities are

there is also their website

more tug seems to like it - some have complaints about the lack of stuff - not enough dishwasher detergent, toilet paper - not big things - the staff seems wonderful and that is something big.

this is close to off site restuarants.

this is an older resort.

spiceycat - thanks
I have exhausted my searches on the internet for info on this resort but would appreciate hearing from someone who has stayed there. I see mention of a complimentary continental breakfast - any info on this.
You know what, I'm just going to go call them now. Will report back later.

I was successful in getting all my questions answered by calling them direct. Thanks for your help.

:bounce: :Pinkbounc We stayed at Orbit One in 2002 and enjoyed it. It was third week of 4 and wanted a little quieter resort. It is small but does have two pools (heated). Front one has two small water slides in it. There was organized activities but not a great deal (free hot dogs and ice cream one day) usual tie dye, bingo, water areobics etc. It is just in front of Westgate property very close to parks. Can walk on lighted sidewalks to several resturants including my favorite Golden Corral. You do not have to worry about units as all surrond one of pools. I think there was basketball courts. We would go again

We have a unit on hold for August. Any info or

Thanks for posting. We're booked there for October 30 thru SkyAuction. Paid $261 for the week with ready, set, go - less than $38/nite! I figure it can't be too bad at that price.

anyone else who's stayed there and can comment?

the place we stayed in had upper and lower units

we were in the upper- had to go up stairs if that is a concern for you

walk into kitchen- tiled, seemed like new appliances, eating area, then living room w/tv. Patio doors opened to a screened in porch.

Off of kitchen and living room were the bedrooms. Each had tv and bath. master had whirlpool tub. There was a washer/dryer in the kitchen area. I love having separate bedrooms and a kitchen, and the price was great.

To me, the place was nice. My family only used one of the two pools. It was nothing spectacular, but it was fine for them. They did have donuts and juice, but I don't think it was every day of the week. They had some planned activities, but they fell on our park days, so we did not go to them. There was a volleyball area- there may have been other things, but we were not really there for the 'resort', we were there to go to Disney, so it did not matter to us. I think we were there in more of an off season, so there may be more things planned during busier times. They were doing renovations while we were there- I am guessing that our unit had already been done.

It is so hard to comment on hotels. I have read things on tripadvisor that really made me worry about the hotel I had the reservation at, and then I stayed there and thought it was fine. Everyone expects something different from a hotel. For me, vacation is usually not about the hotel, it is about seeing the attractions in the area. If you are only there to enjoy the hotel, you may expect something different- KWIM? Personally, I don't like high class hotels wher people wait on you hand and foot- makes me uncomfortable- but other people love that.
