Orbit One vs Fantasy World

I am planning on trying SkyAuction to rent a 7night stay (8/13-8/20). I need it to be budget friendly which for me is under $500. It looks like SkyAuction has some for $474 and $499 but for Orbit One and Fantasy World. I have never stayed at either one but I have a 9 year old daughter that LOVES resorts with more than just a pool. It appears both of these have mini-water parks. I think I like FantasyWorld better because of the lazy river. But if anyone has stayed at either one, I would appreciate your opinions, advice and suggestions. Thanks in Advance !!!

I've not stayed at Orbit One but stayed at Fantasy World for 2 1-week trips in 2014. We were fortunate enough to get it for $349/week through Armed Forces Vacation Club.

The unit itself was adequate--a little dated, a little worn, but more than serviceable and roomy (2 BR/2 BA with a living room and full kitchen). The outdoor amenities (pool, lazy river, outdoor bar and hot tubs) were very nice and what brought us back after our 1st stay.

It's my understanding they've renovated many of the units. Regardless, we'd definitely stay there again. We're going in June and DW wanted me to check out availability there first. (Unfortunately, unavailable for our dates.)

both are dated. Orbit One is a lot closer (short cut/back entrance) to WDW than Fantasy world is. so if going to WDW would go with Orbit one.

the same thing that happened at WDW (Pop century) also happened there - a kid got out of his room and drowned in the swimming pool.

Haven't been to Fantasy World but we've stayed at Orbit One 4 times, most recently in November 2015. We like it there. Great location. Units are clean and nicely equipped. Not fancy but more than adequate and when you consider you're only spending $50/night, you really can't beat it.
