Orange Tomrrowland

It has come to my attention that people who participated in the ride competition got a orange tomorrowland pin for enterering. So my question is since not THAT many of the pins were given out did its value drop a lot or just a little?

You won't really know until you try to trade it, but I would say a lot.
There were about 2000 in the competition. They all have pins now.

..and how many active users (minus mules) does VMK have?

if everyone would have entered the competition, everyone would have got the pin and the value would have dropped to a normal buyable pin. but since not everyone entered, I'm pretty sure it's still in demand and still worth something to somebody.

I'll trade mine for (inferno + sparrow + stitch hat + bird hat).
(always wanted a bird hat)

I think it is impossible to say what it is worth right now. Go sit in a trade room and try to trade for 1. Then you will know.

it's value decreased drastically. I am not sure where the 2,000 number keeps coming from (unless I missed an announcement as to how many entries there were) but if that number is even close its a HUGE amount considering there seemed to be alot less than 2000 in the game before the contest

The number 2000 comes from the fact the the hosts, (I was there when Hula said it),said that they had about 2000 entries. There was a thread about the number of entries last week when they had to extend the judging.

I'm not sure what you are using to determine arbitrarily, that there are a lot less players? The 2,000 count of rides comes from Host_Hula and Yavn stating that the number was over 2,000 (Yavn says thousands which qualifies) It is true there are still time we only see attendance at 800 - 900 people the number of players seems to stay between 3,000 - 5000 people at any given time of the day and any given time of the week. While some people feel the numbers are largely because of "mules", that is not really plausible, even though there are planty of them in the game. Most people do not regularly operate more then one character at the same time. Also most people in the game are not on 100% of the time its open or each day, so that Number does not reflect number of players. It is dificult to guess the exact number of real, regular players. My guess is even VMK would have a dificult time pinning that number down but they could likely come close. I would take a shot in the dark and say 10,000 - 20,000 (a huge window I know) I base this on Fan site membership and reqular rolling attendance, as well as the playing paterns of people on my friends list and my own family. Some players just aren't in much but many still like to participate.
