I booked vistana resorts through sheraton, but I was just looking at orange lakes. Orange Lakes looks good also, what would you suggest - orange lakes or sheraton vistana? I have 3 boys ages - 19, 16 and 13. :scratchin

Probably Vistana.
From what my grandparents have said they're both great resorts. However they also said that Vistana had more for kids and teens than Orange Lake did. I've stayed at Vistana 3 times and have loved it every time.

Hi - We stayed at Orange Lake last November and thought it was incredible. We got it thru SkyAuction for around $200 for the week! What a steal!!

The unit we were in was brand spanking new and looked just like the pictures on the website. It was clean, large, bright, airy and even nicer than my house which is only a few years old!

The only downside was that we did have to drive to the main pool area. Didn't bother us too much since we were also visiting the parks. So on the days we went to the pool, we were there for the long haul.

It was a very easy commute to Disney and had a Publix pretty much right outside the back gate.

Never stayed at Vistana Resort, just the Villages which we also liked. That was a much smaller resort with a beautiful pool. (No slide though).

I think you would be happy at either. But I understand your concern, I'm trying to pick between two resorts (CPGV and Horizons) myself.

I know when I plan a Disney trip, I want everything to go great because it is an expensive trip no matter how you slice it. Plus it is so nice to get a way and stay in a beautiful resort. I never want to be disappointed. I think Orlando's resorts have spoiled me!!!

Happy planning!

I've been to both. The Vistana Resort is a nicer place and a much better location. Go with the Vistana unless Golf plays a major factor in your trip. Then maybe OLCC.

Just got back... on the 27th.... had to stay for Jean. We were at the Vistana the entire stay. It was great.... we were in the Cascades and had a 2 bdrm Villa. Lots of room.... well layed out. Staff was great always willing to help. Make your request early and you should be ok. Pools are great, water slide and water falls.

Register as a Diamond Lane guest....makes check in easier.

There is a great General Store on site has everything you could want and more.

E-mail me and we can chat more and I have pics of the rooms and resort.
