We've only stayed at Orange Lake once and have our second stay booked for early next year. Last time we were there (we're owners) we were bombarded with sales calls, mixers calls, "free buffet" calls, golf calls, etc. Can I politely ask at check-in for them to LEAVE US ALONE!!! And if so, will they honor the request? Thank You

If all else fails bring a cell for family to reach you on. Then unplug the phone. Hopefully they'll respect your request though and it won't be an issue.

Hi. I would recommend that you remind on both Check in and 1st call that you are owners and you do not wish to be bothered with sales calls. Go further and let them know you will advise friends and post on sites such as this not to buy if they call.

If all else fails a tactic I sometime use at timeshares is tell them I only have (Fri) morning (or whatever the last full day of your stay is and book the tour then. They therefore will not bug you the rest of the week except for probably a reminder call. Then don't show. They can't force you to attend or penalize you.
