Yep. I have a 3-bedroom at River Island although from the sounds of things, it will only be me.Hey- is this Gary from TUG????Maybe I will see you there. We will be from the 22-29th.
Theresa aka Swift on TUG
You'll enjoy the pool areas. We just got back from there on Sunday.
Great pic's !!!! We have scheduled in some down time in our stay just so we can enjoy the resort. I am hoping the weather will be warm enough to enjoy the pools. Our reservation is for the West Village although I understand that they can put you either in the West or the East. I am on a toss up on which I would prefer according to what I have read. I know that the East side is newer but from what I have read it is built more like a "hotel". The West side units sound larger but depending if you get a recently refurbished unit or not they can show their age. Also, East side is closer to all the action from what I have read. I don't know. If you ever get a chance to stay at the Lawrence Welk in San Diego you go through same kind of choices. I did prefer the older units in San Diego just because of their size and the fact that they are like cottages as opposed to hotel high rises.
We had a great trip. Here are a couple of pictures of our unit. We stayed in the West Village. We had no problems with construction, we were near one of the pools, pee wee golf and had a beautiful swan swimming in the lake in front of our unit. It was a short shuttle or drive to the lazy river which I didn't mind at all. Our unit was in a duplex which I would prefer over having units above me and below me.
