To those who've stayed there. I was reading reviews on the RCI web site. It sounded like the living room in the older units was sunken. Is this true of all units? Do all units only have a shower in the second bathroom? I'd try to call the site again, but the last person I talked to seemed a little uninformed. Everyone here seems much more knowledgable.

:daisy: :)

We stayed there last Thanksgiving through Sky Auction. We requested and received a 2 bedroom condo in the North Section. It was beautiful and brand new. No, the living room was not sunken, and the 2nd bathroom had a full size tub/shower. My husband loved OLCC, but he is a golfer. Please feel free to ask me any more questions.

We stayed in the (older) West section last Dec. I wouldn't call the living room "sunken", though there was a step down from dining area into the living room. The master bedroom was right off of the living room.

I know everyone prefers the newer sections, but we were quite happy in the West section...it's closer to the entrance/exit, and the unit was clean and well equipped. We could also park immediately outside our door, which was great after a tiring day at the parks.

I'm trying not to worry about the older section. I would just like to know whether or not they have a regular size bathtub in the second bathroom for baths for the baby. I'm just curious. I've given both kids bathtubs in a jacuzzi tub before, but I think I got even more wet than they did. :teeth:

Also, I was thinking that since I know about the step in the dining room ahead of time maybe I can find some bright orange tape or something to put down in that area. My mother-in-law is legally blind and I was concerned about her tripping. I've seen her in other units with stairs and she can get by but I would like to make it a little easier on her. I didn't know if the tape would help or be more of a tripping hazard.

Well, I'm rambling......

Thanks for everbody's input.

steen995,

We were in a 2 bdrm/2bath and both bathrooms had the tub/shower combination. We did not have a jacuzzi in our unit.

Hope that helps!

BTW, I think the tape sounds like an excellent idea...though I don't know if it would be more of a tripping hazard or not.
