Hi thanks in advance to anyone who can help. I'm going to Orange Lake this June, I would like to see a map of resort if anyone knows where I can get one, Also to those who have stayed there, what are the differences between villiages? thanks Jill

Hi,

I just came back from there. Stayed at Orange Lake May 5 to 12 via an RCI exchange, North Village in the building between the pool and the golf course.

I don't have a map. If you need one for pre-planning I can't help but when you arrive the guard at the first hut gives you easy directions and at check in they give you a basic map.

I would highly recommend the North Village. After hearing about different parts of the resort we requested this specifically and were very happy. We were mainly concerned about getting a unit that was in really good shape, quiet and near a pool. The 1 br unit we were in was nearly new and in perfect condition. We faced the golf course on the third floor and it was very quiet. The pool there is nice. We didn't use any other resort amenities as we were in Disney most of the time.

North is a little ways from the lake so if that is important you might want to consider other options but for us it was terrific. Orange Lake is a big resort. My parents have also stayed there so if you have specific questions or are looking for specific features or accessiblity let me know and I can try to answer.

I have stayed in the 1-bedrooms in both the North and West Village. There's something to be said about both. I believe that all the 1-bedroom units in the North Village are in the multi-floor buildings next to Splash Lagoon. Very convenient. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay.

BIG map.... it is a big resort.

I try to post it before - but it was too big.

This message is in response to the previous post by Yarbogash who requested the North village. I have not heard good endings when people request specific areas, especially on an RCI exchange. How did you make this request? What suggestions do you have for me to request a unit near one of the newer pools? Thanks.
