I have two weeks reserved at OLCC 4/21/07 to 5/5/07. Unfortunately I can no longer stay for the second week. Are we allowed to try and find a buyer for the second week on the DIS boards? :confused3

If this is through an RCI exchange you are not allowed to rent out the week. It is against the exchange company rules.

If this was an exchange, I think that RCI will let you deposit the week back. You lose the fee you already paid and you lose some trading power, but I believe they will take it back. When they tried to sell me the travel insurance, it came down to paying the roughly $100 for the insurance or losing the $149 for the exchange fee if I had to cancel the reservation. So, even if I'm wrong on this, it wouldn't hurt to give RCI a call.

I own 2 weeks at OLCC....if you are renting, you can simply cancel your second week. Your reservation is far enough out you can do so without penalty. If you are an owner and you've used RCI, you have the capacity to rent on your own and only have to fill out a form to inform OLCC of someone else having permission to use your unit. Good luck....OLCC is a great choice especially for travelers with families. A little commute hint...don't bother with taking the new expressway to WDW as it costs a $1 but doesn't really save that much time. Have fun....
