We will be at OL in April :cool1: .
We had a wonderful time there last year and at that time rented some baby things from ABBF. At that time my grandson was just 6 mos old so a porta crib was fine. ABBF was great and would use them again, if needed.

Anyway, now DGS will be 18 mos old and a crib will be fine. I understand OL supplies cribs for free. BUT, how are they? I know I could rent one from ABBF, but if I can get one for free, then all the better, as long as it is in good shape. Something you wouldn't mind using for your little one.

Any opinions?
Also, does OL supply high chairs?
Thanks,

Karen :)

Just bumping this, hoping that some Orange Lake "experts" can give me some opinions re the cribs at OL.

Thanks,

Karen:)

When we stayed at OL and requested a crib for our then 18 month old, we were given a pack and play. More like the old style port-a-crib type than the newer pack and plays. I was kind of surprised. It reminded me of something my mom would have had in the attic from me or my siblings. It was clean and well maintained. Suited our needs.

Yes, I think I remember now :rolleyes2 . I believe I did inquire about their "cribs" last year and was told, by OL staff, that they are more like port - a - cribs.

Hmmmmm, will have to speak with DD and se if she thinks DGS will be OK in a port a crib or if we should rent a crib from ABBF. The only down side to renting from ABBF ( the $ part is OK if that is what we need) is that their cribs have to be put together. On their site it says it is very easy to do,but after a long day, plane ride, checking in at Ol and then trying to get out to CM's, I don't know if my son in law will be in the mood to put a crib together :sad2: .

Right now, I'm thinking we could get the port a crib from OL, use it just the first night, then have son in law put the crib (rented from ABBF) together the next day.

Thanks for refreshing my memory about that :upsidedow

Definetly a pack n play. Nothing wrong with it, whenever we go to hotels its always the same pack n play from Graco I think at all hotels nowadays. The only ones that gave us real cribs were Westin hotels. Just bring your own sheets!

Thankyou Hasil72 and lesleyd75,

Now, does anyone have info on high chairs? Does OL provide them and, if so, how are they?

I know I could OL, but I just have more faith in my Dis friends' opinions ;) .

Karen :)
