Orange County State of Emergency

I’ll still be wearing mine and following social distancing where possible. I dare someone to look at me sideways :rotfl:
We are the same...and probably keeping space between us and the next party as well. If they give me a side eye or ask me to move closer...words will be said. I have zero problem saying anything right now....being at a park won't change that either

Rode skyliner last night and has another couple put on with us, was glad to see them properly masked. Jackson was wearing his blue Jay's shirt so they asked which blue Jay's, we said Toronto and they were happy hear we were Canadian and knew we would be vaccinated. It was kind of funny. We have managed to avoid too many big crowds but put our masks on if we can't. And avoid others who aren't wearing the properly. Using lots of hand sanitizer. Kiddo often reminds me it is crowded and to mask up.

How many ppl do they jam into the skyliner at once? I don’t know how big they are.
Thanks so much

We're leaving next week, and for the sake of my sanity I've mostly avoided thinking about crowds/masks. We have tickets to both the Wine and Dine afterparty and the Christmas Party, so hopefully we'll be able to do at least those two parks with lower crowds. Honestly, if we feel at all uncomfortable, we'll just go hang out by the pool.
I'm more worried about the crowds at the start of the runDisney races since they haven't really said anything about how they'll be handling that.

I feel the same way about going to wdw and then I try to think about the fact that physical distancing is starting to be relaxed where we live (just places where you have to be vaccinated so far) and the Ontario premier announced by end of March all remaining restrictions will be lifted including masks regardless of vaccination status.
I’m thinking not everyone will be ready to jump in …. I’m not afraid, I got vaccinated but I still can’t imagine what it will be like to be in crowded places without a mask? Lol
When we went to Disneyland in August, we put ours on outside when crowded too.
Part of me was paranoid, it’s interesting how our mentality has changed in the last 20 months.

They hold up to 10 people, we have been on with 4 others at max. Most people have been good at masking and they are a decent distance across from seat to seat. And there is air flow when they are flying., which I feel better about than being crammed on a bus.

I wish we were here for two weeks buy covid wise I am glad it is only a week.

I’ve read that they won’t be doing away with the mask requirement at Disney any time soon. Also for the Skyliner you can request to have your own and they are fine with it, did it every time last month. We also did a day at Universal/HHN and they don’t require masks at all, just if unvaccinated you are required to indoors, so we took advantage and didn’t wear our masks at all that day and it was nice, we weren’t afraid or worried at all.

Fingers crossed!

You will probably be alone, they only seemed to group 1, 2 or 3 people groups, anything bigger usually had their own. And it was more at park open and close. Middle of the day we were most often alone.
