Does anyone know why the DVC I am purchasing resale wouldn't show up on Orange Counties site? Shouldn't I be able to find it under the current owners names? Do they remove it when our contract closes or when they file the deed under my name?
We haven't closed yet that I am aware of.

What resort are you purchasing? Vero Beach or Hilton Head won't show on the Orange County site, as those resorts are not in Orange County.

When I type in the name of the person I bought my resale from 4 years ago, The deed they signed with Disney still show up. I'm not sure why It would not be showing up.

Make sure you enter the name you are searching for with the lastname first and then the firstname without a comma in between. In other words, to search for a deed owned by John Smith, enter:

smith john

and NOT:

smith, john

If you put the comma in between it will not work. Also, if you are entering a document type in your search, to search for a deed you should enter just the letter d and not the word deed.

This site contains public records. They do not delete records when property changes hands. Your seller's deed should be listed now and will continue to be listed even after your deed is entered into the records. In fact, your deed will show that the property was transferred from the previous owner to you.

Thanks that is exactly what I was doing wrong. I kept using a comma.

Thanks!!!
