Options for Unused Tickets

Thanks. Others have shared similar experiences about reservations. Have you seen any reports of people actually using their tickets and retaining the remaining days for use until Sept 2021? I know it's only been a few days, so perhaps too early for this.

I haven’t seen anything yet. I will probably call before we go to confirm.

Original poster here. After we got further mired in coronavirus disruptions, I decided to seek a refund for the park hoppers I bought for my goddaughter and her daughter. I requested the refund through the travel agency (Tripster) on July 1. They immediately responded that they would do so and it would take four to six weeks. However, it is now late September and I still have no refund! I‘ve exchanged email with the travel agency a couple of times and they blame the delays on Disney. Can this be right? Trying to figure out if I should believe the travel agency. They seem to be an official partner of Disney.

I was told, if no refund by mid October
for the one AP I cancelled, to call back WDW back. I’m guessing they are trying to defer some losses into last quarter of year

no idea how it would work with a TA for WDW tix. Im thinking they would get the refund as they ‘own’ the reservation

why not Chat or cal WDW and ask how this should work out?

I’m not familiar with Tripster, but what i’ve read of COVID refunds through 3rd parties is that it has been a challenging process. The 3rd party paid your money to WDW, so WDW has to approve and issue a refund back through the 3rd party. I think refunds are not a normal process, so that may be impacting, as well as the volume of refund requests. I suggest you maintain regular contact with the vendor checking on status periodically until resolved. Good luck!
